infoEver since the Arizona governor signed the Legal Arizona Workers Act, a state legislation that included tougher immigration enforcement into law, the US government and the Obama administration have been threatening to file lawsuit to challenge the state’s power to legislature over matters involving immigration related issues.

US State Department is to increase nonimmigrant visa application fees

infoYu, South & Associates reminds our clients that the US Department of State (DOS) is increasing fees to ensure sufficient resources to cover the rising cost of processing nonimmigrant visas. This increase applies both to nonimmigrant visas placed in passports and to border crossing cards issued to certain applicants in Mexico.

TPS Status Extended for El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua, 18 Months More!

infoYesterday, USCIS announced on separate occasions that the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua was extended for an additional 18 months from the time of their scheduled expiration dates respectively.  This was very good news for the citizens and nationals from those three countries.
