Republic Senators Wish to Amend Constitution on Birth Citizenship Rights!

infoSenator David Vitter (Louisiana) and the newly-elected Senator Rand Paul (Kentucky) have introduced a resolution to change the Constitution so that people born on American soil do not have automatic citizenship rights.

USCIS New Increased Immigration Filing Fee Schedule Becomes Effective Nov. 23, 2010

We have previously reported to you that US Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) was planning a new fee hike on immigration related filing fees.  We hereby remind you that according to the latest announcement by USCIS this new fee schedule goes into effect on Nov. 23, 2010.

US Employers Alert, If You Have or Plan to Hire Employees from Puerto Rico!!!

infoUSCIS just issued a new update regarding the effect of birth certificate issued to the US citizens born in Puerto Rico, as a direct impact of a new regulation that went into effect in Puerto Rico recently. This new regulation now has an immeidate effect on all US employers regarding their I-9 compliance and revalidation.
